Origin of Line is a company that aims to enhance every stage of processing, starting from the raw material to arrive at the finished product. Origin is investing in collaborations with its suppliers to guarantee the final product absolute longevity, thanks to the transformation and refinement of fibers and fabrics, aimed at discovering materials and production techniques never used before.
The dyeing technique used by Origin of Line for most of its items is garment dyeing, giving the final product a unique aesthetic obtained from recipes derived from the collaboration between the design office and the dyehouse. This technique allows the brand to be free from the colors marketed each season by suppliers, and to choose and experiment with hues sampled from the inspiration of the collection in development, enriching them also with different types of finishings such as pigment dye, shady, frosted, hydro stop and others.
For embroidery, Origin of Line relies on Italian workshops that use latest-generation machinery, thus allowing for a top-quality result. The approach to embroidery comes from the strong symbiotic relationship with suppliers. The product office's knowledge of the machinery used during processing creates a functional and not merely aesthetic approach to this design phase.
In the printing phase, Origin of Line aims for the best by selecting the finest companies in the sector, ensuring excellent resolution and durability in this phase as well.
Through the study of fabric manipulation and with the help of expert, constantly updated technicians, Origin guarantees processes (such as coatings, resin treatments, laminations…) with high-quality raw materials, thus bringing unique aspects and maximum functionality to the materials.
For finishing, Origin relies on the family-owned industrial pressing facility (Stireria Baraldi) which, through artisanal methods later industrialized, guarantees a very high level of product quality control and the ability to obtain the finished garment ready to be sold to customers.
